Reception for : To err is [5396] By Chelsea Humphries
Join us from October 2nd 6pm - 7pm for the opening of "To err is [5396]", an interactive and participation-based exhibition brought to us by Chelsea Humphries at The OPEN Gallery.
"Large language models (LLMs), like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot don’t actually understand language like you and I. These tools transform any words and phrases that you input into numbers, called “tokens.” They then perform hidden calculations with these numbers to determine the most likely output of corresponding tokens — numbers that correspond with words and phrases that are generated as a response in the chat, masquerading as text with human meaning."
Exhibition runs from October 1st - 18th, 2026.
